The most effective method to Learn Advanced English Easily
All around the world, English has become the one language used for communication and correspondence between different countries and nationalities; it is the lingua franca acknowledged by most nations as the primary language for business. Therefore, it’s important to learn English to succeed, so you can take advantage of greater opportunities at school or work.
English can be a
difficult language to learn. There’s a lot to figure out: complicated grammar
rules, sentence structure, pronunciation, vocabulary including expressions and
slang, and reading, writing and listening skills too. Any language that you
need to learn requires a certain amount of energy and exertion on your part. To
master English, learn english online speaking, you must be determined to practice, and practice regularly
everyday.
After consistent
studying, you can begin to develop a familiarity with the language that allows
you to communicate with more ease. The vocabulary and grammar you need will
start to come to you automatically without so much thinking.
To get to this point, you need to make sure
your practice is effective. When it comes to improving your vocabulary in
particular, there are some wise strategies you should use.
Do you have
trouble using new words that you just learned? And do you sometimes make
awkward sentences in English because you’re not sure how to use them in a
sentence?
When you are
learning a language, it’s important to learn the meaning of individual words.
But it’s more important to learn what words go together.
Words that we
see together often in a language are called collocations. Using collocations
make you sound natural because they are the phrases that native speakers
typically use. However, as an ESL learner, it can be difficult to figure out
which words collocate with each other.
Of course, you
can check the dictionary, which can teach you collocations because they give
examples of phrases including the target word. A dictionary allows you to see
the definitions, synonyms, antonyms, parts of speech, free english courses online speaking, collocations and other information about a target word in one
glance. And of course you can find vocabulary lists online.
But I think the
best way to learn vocabulary is create your own list of individual words AND
collocations. It’s the creation of the lists that helps you remember the words
more.
A good place to
find collocations that are often used are tv shows and movies or listening
exercises for beginners with transcripts. Or you can listen to native speakers
talk and take notes.
For example, if
you might learn the phrase “So glad I bumped into you.” Once you learn it, you
can change that to…
“So happy I
bumped into you.”
“So awesome that
I ran into you.”
“What a surprise
bumping into you here.”
The more changes
you can think of, the better your language mind becomes at creating new phrases
for you to use. So when you are asked an unexpected question, you will be
experienced at putting together words in a new way based on the collocations or
chunks of language that you learned.
